It seems that my Terios (2008) is generally known as Terios2. But when I bought this car it was advertised as Terios Mk3 b y the dealer. Does anyone know if it is officially Mk2 or Mk3??
Take extreme care when undoing the TIE ROD END. Most ball joint tools are not big enough as this is quite heavy duty. You have to be very very careful not to damage the thread otherwise you will have to replace the whole joint.
Also, when removing the 2 bolts which hold the STEERING KNUCKLE in position- again, very difficult to remove without damaging the threads - especiall;y if trying to do the job on your own.
BEFORE you start, get yourself 2 new bolts. Do NOT buy from the dealer. Go to your local tool shop and get
2 x HT. M12 x 60 or 70mm and 2 x Nylock nuts and 4 x washers. This will make the job much easier and thery will not cost much this way. Oh and this will save you some swearing!
Well, just to let you all know that it IS POSSIBLE to replace front wheel bearings the wrog way around!!!
So beware- take much care with this job. And when ordering the bearing kit make sure it for cars WITH ABS!!! some of the bearing kits are for NON ABS cars and so if you fit these your ABS will not work and the light will
not go out.
Also, the ABS sensors are VERY FRAGILE and easily damaged, so gently does it.

The proportioning valve is leaking brake fluid. Big trouble finding parts. Car is otherwise in great condition, and I'd hate to junk it. Any ideas where to get parts or even alternative solutions?. Will pay finders fee for parts or info leading to a solution. '89 Daihatsu Charade
Hi fellow Daihatsu owners. I am in England. I think I may be the only person in UK who actually takes their TERIOS off the tarmac. She goes almost anywhere and I have some great fun with her

Well I purchased a Terios 2008 because I wanted a small estate car with e decent driving position, and, OH it just happens to be 4WD!!!hehehe.
I regularly take it offroad and have some serious fun with it - tough as old boots. Every time I take it out it surpises people with it's capability(especially the LandRover drivers, hahaha)
